Understanding screen sizes

Screen Sizes refer to the length of it’s diagonal, the distance between opposite corners.

A common misconception is that it refers to the width of the screen. As in the above instance we had a customer wanting a screen to fit into the space of 120 inch (305cm) for their home cinema.

They purchased our 120 Inch black back screen. They realized in the nick of time before opening and attempting to fit the screen.

They were able to return and exchange for our 150 Inch screen which is 131 inch in width.

All’s well that ends well !

The screen and home cinema look fantastic and were up in time for Christmas.

We won’t start the debate as to whether Die Hard is a Christmas movie or not !
